Senior Product Manager
Zuddl is the unified event platform that B2B marketing teams at companies like CrowdStrike, Figma, Stripe, TikTok, Checkpoint, and Iterable use to run their most important conferences, field events, and webinars, all from one system. We're backed by Y Combinator, Alpha Wave, and Qualcomm Ventures, and we're going after every legacy player in a market that's being rebuilt from scratch.
About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Product Manager who has owned a product end to end before, ideally as a founder, and who works largely on their own.
You'll own a major domain of the Zuddl platform that spans several modules. Examples are the full event workflow from registration through production and check-in, or the data and integration layer that connects events to a customer's CRM and marketing stack. You own the roadmap, the technical direction with engineering, and the outcomes for that domain. Leadership will challenge your thinking and add context when you ask for it, but won't set direction for you. You are expected to frame ambiguous problems, make hard tradeoffs, and drive complex cross-functional work without much intervention.
You should also be truly AI-native. At Zuddl, product work runs on AI: research, specs, data analysis, and prototypes that go from problem to something clickable in days. This is how you already work, and you think about where AI creates leverage in the product itself.
What You'll Own
Working with people
- Be the primary driver for complex, high-impact initiatives that cut across modules
- Lead cross-functional work across engineering, design, PMM, CS, Support, and Sales. Resolve disagreements and keep everyone aligned through ambiguity
- Make difficult decisions under ambiguity, with strong independent product judgment
Building the roadmap
- Form your own view of where Zuddl wins, loses, and should differentiate. Spot market changes that should change direction
- Look past individual requests to find the systemic problems underneath, and decide which gaps deserve real investment
- Understand not just what competitors built, but why, and where they're heading. Decide where we match, differentiate, or ignore
- Prioritize major investments on your own and make the hard tradeoffs
- Own your OKRs and the roadmap behind them, including how modules fit together as one platform
Building the feature
- Bring strong customer intuition from repeated exposure to users and workflows. Form a sharp initial view, then use research to validate or challenge it
- Frame complex, ambiguous problems well. Challenge the premise and reframe before the team commits to a solution
- Write PRDs with clear justification for every call
- Have strong judgment on where to match the market, where to differentiate, and where not to invest
- Find the abstractions and platform investments that unlock multiple future features, without over-generalizing
- Break complex initiatives into stages that reduce product, customer, and technical risk
- Say no to low-leverage work, even under customer or internal pressure
- Hold a very high bar for end-to-end workflows. Catch the subtle friction and inconsistency others miss
- See second- and third-order consequences before they become customer or engineering problems
Shipping the feature
- Own the release plan for complex or high-risk launches: feature flags, rollout cohorts, backwards compatibility, and first-time user experience
- Anticipate what Sales, CS, Support, and Implementation will need, and drive enablement
- Shape positioning for complex or strategic launches, grounded in customer, market, and competitive understanding
- Work out why a launch is or isn't working, and decide the right response: product, UX, GTM, or enablement
- Assess partnership and integration opportunities with external third parties
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of product management experience, with a track record of owning a product end to end, from roadmap to execution
- Founder or founder-like experience strongly preferred: you've built and owned a product with that level of ownership and speed
- B2B SaaS experience is a must
- Startup experience is required. You're comfortable with ambiguity, limited resources, and fast iteration
- Experience at a marketing- or design-led company is a strong plus. So is event tech or martech
- Truly AI-native: AI is your default for research, specs, data analysis, and prototyping, and you can show us how
- You love technology and can hold detailed conversations with your engineering team. An engineering background is a bonus
- You go deep on data and turn it into decisions
- Excellent communicator and stakeholder manager. You tell the story well, listen to other views, and still drive the decision that's best for the customer and the business
- Equally comfortable on the long-term vision, next week's release, and what went wrong with last month's launch
How You Operate
- High agency: you turn business goals into execution plans without detailed direction
- First-principles thinker, willing to challenge "how we've always done it"
- Bias to action: you ship and iterate instead of waiting for perfect information
- You surface risks early
- Accountable: you own the wins and the misses
What Success Looks Like
- Your domain has a clear roadmap the company trusts and a track record of shipping against it
- Launches land well with customers, and Sales, CS, and Support are ready for them
- Your decisions hold up, and the team needs little leadership intervention to move
Why You Want To Work Here
- Competitive compensation
- ESOPs
- Remote working, with an option to rent coworking spaces
- Flexible leave program
- Home workstation setup allowance
- A culture built on trust, transparency, and integrity
- Ground floor opportunity at a fast-growing Series A startup
