Zuddl is the unified events platform that gives B2B marketing teams complete ownership of their brand, their data, and their pipeline impact — across conferences, field events, webinars, and trade shows. Instead of duct-taping point solutions together or waiting on agencies and web dev queues, teams at Figma, CrowdStrike. Iterable, and Grafana Labs use Zuddl to design pixel-perfect event experiences, launch programs in minutes, and prove revenue impact back to the business — all from one platform they actually control.
Why this Role
Most B2B buyers make up their minds before they ever talk to a vendor. We need content that reaches them while they're still deciding — and a system that produces it consistently.
This role builds both: a scalable content engine that keeps Zuddl visible across search, AI, and social, and an editorial program that makes Zuddl worth reading. Senior individual contributor, reporting to the VP Marketing, working across Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Events, and Marketing Operations.
What You Own
- Zuddl's published point of view: You develop original editorial positions (essays, reports, playbooks, video) with specific claims, real evidence, and implications readers will discuss and act on.
- The quality of the reading experience: You own the craft that makes someone finish a piece and come back for the next one.
- Discoverability: You own the programmatic content layer that keeps Zuddl showing up in search results, LLM-generated answers, and social discovery.
- Nurture journey: Newsletters, nurture sequences, campaign emails, post-event follow-up, and the pipeline that turns event recordings and panels into published assets.
- Outcomes: You connect what you publish to what it produces, and maintain the feedback loops that tell you what's working and what to change.
How You Operate
Streams You Manage
1. Thought Leadership: Develop editorial positions with the VP Marketing and subject
matter experts: define the claim, gather evidence, build the argument, produce the asset - from industry round-ups to opinion pieces and fireside videos.
2. Programmatic Content: SEO/GEO/AEO articles, topic clusters, drafts, and production pipelines.
3. Email: Newsletters, nurture sequences, campaign emails, post-event follow-up.
Systems You Build
1. AI Workflows: Use AI to scale production and as a thinking partner for editorial work. You turn editorial standards into prompts, rubrics, and quality gates that hold without you reviewing every output. You define what the system produces; Marketing Operations builds the infrastructure.
2. Discovery Infrastructure: Topic cluster ownership, content briefs, production pipelines, and performance feedback loops across search and LLM-driven surfaces.
3. Repurposing Pipelines: Every major asset enters a pipeline that produces downstream outputs: social posts, email variants, search-optimized derivatives.
What We're Looking For
- You think in arguments, not topics. You pitch a specific claim, why it's true, and what the reader should do about it. You can be challenged on your ideas.
- You write well and you know it. You can tell the difference between a sentence that works and one that almost works, and explain why.
- You tell stories, not just make points. You know how to pull a reader through a piece with pacing and narrative. People enjoy reading what you write.
- You use AI seriously. You build prompts, rubrics, and quality gates that hold without manual review. You track where the AI capability line moves and adjust.
- You build for how content gets found now. Search, LLM answers, social. All of them.
- You ship without hand-holding. Strategic direction in, running program out. You surface problems with proposed solutions.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in content marketing, with meaningful time at a B2B SaaS company. Series A–D preferred.
- A portfolio with original editorial work — pieces that advance a real argument, not just explain a category.
- Working knowledge of content discovery beyond traditional SEO — including how LLMs surface and cite content.
- Fluency across formats: written, video, audio. You direct with authority even when you're not producing everything yourself.
- Experience building or operating AI-assisted content workflows: prompt engineering, workflow design (n8n, Make, or similar), or custom GPT development.
- Comfort collaborating with and working across Demand, Product Marketing, and Sales to move work forward.
